Happy Easter

Happy Easter Everyone!

I thought I would upload a card that I made a couple of weeks ago because I have been neglecting my little blog lately.  I bought some new stamps which could be teamed up with my Honeycomb paper and my Mum found me this set which I love!

I added one of my old Tilda's to the front and I have created a little scene inside with the stamp set!  How cool is this?  I love it!  I think you can just see the Honeycomb Hive in the middle, but its not a great photo!  I also found this lovely Magnolia paper when making an order from Sir Stampalot a couple of weeks ago.

I have had lots of orders and this has kept me busy in the spare time that I have, not that I have much anymore but this has meant that I have earned some pennies and treated myself to a Cake Pop Maker and lots of other accessories.  I can't wait for this to come so I can have a play.  I have had a Cupcake maker for  a little while now and love to do them so thought I would have a go at something different.  I may blog some of my creations if they are worthy of it, but I have bought it with ideas for Ruby's birthday parties - nothing like getting in front is there!!!

I couldn't blog without posting a few pics of my little Beaut!  She went to her first party a few weeks ago at the Bear Factory and came home with a cute little chick in time for Easter.  Her big Cousin Izzy was 4 and wanted Ruby to go so she could have a bear like her Friends.  My Mum treated her to the little outfit for her bear, but its something for Ruby to treasure from Izzy!

and her is my little Easter Bunny! (so annoying that I can't flip this!!!!)

Happy Easter!

Super Quick Magnolia Card

Hello

A little time has passed since my last post, but Ruby is now 12 1/2 weeks old and time is just flying by.  I just hope my remaining months off work don't go so quick.

Last night I made a card for my Auntie and Uncles wedding anniversary.  My Mum had reminded me about this card last week but I didn't make it and it was left till the last minute, but anyway I had these two images coloured up since before I had Ruby so I thought I may aswell use them.

It was a super quick card and I used my new Prima 6 X 6 paper pad called "Divine".

The lovely buckle is a Bella! Ribbon Bucklez and I think it really makes the card. A simple sentiment stamped in Distress Ink and there you go....

and of course,  I couldn't post without putting on a picture of my little beaut...... check that little smile out!  She has really come along over the last couple of weeks and is smiling, laughing and following me around the room.  Its her second lot of injections tomorrow so no doubt she won't be in a good mood tomorrow after those!

I will hopefully be back soon!

Valentines Card

Hello

I am back with a card that I have made for a few challenges.

I have used my new Tilda from the Christmas Collection just gone, another late purchase in the sale!

I have used my new Magnolia papers which I love and I followed the sketch at Live & Love Crafts.  The hearts a bargain buy from Poundland for a bag full!  They are great to use for my valentines orders.

I love the sentiment too which is also Magnolia.  The challenges I am entering this card into are listed at the bottom of this post, but I also wanted to share my first scrapbook page of Ruby having her first bottle, approximately 1 hour after she was born

I want to try and get back into my scrapbooking and this I hope is the first of many.  I want to do at least 1 page per month to scrap her first year and this was January's!

I hope you like my card and page!

Love, Lace & First Smile

Evening everyone,

I am back with a card that I have made to take part in the DOC Challenge #44 and the theme this week is "Love & Lace"

I have used Tilda Spinkling Stars which I have only recently bought in the sale at my local craft shop.  I love her because I think she can be used for any occasion and not just Christmas.

I have used my Prima Annalee papers which I have not used because I wanted to keep them, but I want to start using my stash even the things I would want to save for something special because you can go on forever saving things and then they never get used - what a waste of money!!!!

Here is a close up of the image coloured with my Promarkers.  I am not really happy with the hair colouring but never mind.

And before I go and link up my card to the DOC I wanted to share a picture of my little lady laughing!  She has really come along over the last week or so and has started to take notice of me and following me round the room.  She also cracks a smile for her Mummy now!

Love - Tilda Blowing Hearts

Happy Monday Everyone!

I am back with another card which was made as a result of being up until the early hours this morning because I was dreading my Dentist appointment today.  After lots of worrying I am now without a wisdom tooth and it wasn't that bad, I suppose!

Anyway, onto my card.  Its an 8 x 8 and I have used some more of my new papers from Magnolia's "With Love" collection.  I really love these papers and have used them more than any other.

I have used my new Tilda blowing hearts and she is coloured with my Promarkers.  I have used my Spellbinder Butterfly and Banner which have been neglected for some time now so it was good to get them out and use them!

I cut Tilda out with my scalloped nestie and mounted her on a red doily.  I also cut out some post cards from   Magnolia paper.  I think they look really cute and effective.

I added some stickles and distressed all my papers with Frayed Burlap.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:-

Right I am off because little Ruby will be waking up soon.  She has her first injections tomorrow which I am dreading, but hopefully she will be okay.

I hope you have a fab week!

Up up and away Tilda

I am back with another card that I have made just for fun!  Its been a while since I have taken part in some challenges so I thought this would be a good time to have a go.  I was up while the early hours making this card because I didn't feel tired.  I should have been at the Dentist at 9.45 having my wisdom tooth out, but due to the snow I have had to cancel!  Perhaps if I knew it was going to be cancelled I wouldn't have been up so late.

I have made the card myself because I am getting fed up of boring 6 x 6 or 8 x 8 cards.  The papers are from Magnolias "With Love" collection called Rose Romance and I think I need more of this one because I love the vintage feel of it - so pretty!

I have used my Up up and away Tilda (my only Tilda from the new collection) and my "you are so special" sentiment.  The fab pegs were an xmas purchase from Poundland - I knew they could be used for something!!  I have used my beautiful prize possession, magnolia heart die for the tag to lift the card out of its pocket which I just LOVE.
On the front of the card I used some pretty pink pleated ribbon from my stash with a Tim Holtz ticket and Cameo (top left)

I love this card because it came out exactly how I wanted it to and for a change it was something I wanted to make rather than for an order.

I am going to enter my card in the following Challenges: -

Right I am off to colour if little Ruby has a sleep this afternoon.  She has been so good over the last couple of days and has even started to laugh and smile!

Finally, a Maggie Card....

As promised I am back with a card.  I have been trying to blog for some time now, but blogger isn't making it easy for me to blog in a rush.  I still can't upload any photographs and have now had to upload via Chrome.  Luckily this seems to be working else I think I would have given up!

On Monday I caught up with my Auntie Chanelle for a much needed craft day.  We haven't seen much of each other over Christmas so we arranged to craft in the afternoon while my Mum babysat Ruby.  Ruby hasn't been very well but luckily my Mum said that she was fine.  I don't think she would have said even if she wasn't ;-)

I was very naughty as I was meant to be providing the embellies for our card, but due to being back and forth with Ruby to the Doctors and then A & E on Sunday night I didn't manage to get them so everything you see here was provided by Auntie Chanelle, including the gorgeous image and honeycomb paper which she has now got me obsessing over (or should I say my Mum because she thinks its fab!).  There is lots of perks to having an Auntie that shares the same hobby, but its not good when she has everything I want!!! She is lovely and lets me borrow whatever I want though!

Bonnie was coloured with Promarkers and the papers are a mixture of First Edition and Magnolia.  I love the tone of this card and despite not buying this image, this card really makes me want to!

Just a close up of Bonnie.  I think I am going to let my Dad have this card for my Mum to give to her on Valentines day because I think she will be the only person that would really appreciate this card.  It would be wasted on Martin!!!

Finally, I couldn't blog without posting a little pic of my little lady!  It was taken at my Mums house last week and if you look close enough you can see her gripping onto my chain because the crafty little thing doesn't want to be put down!!!!  My little Max is also sleeping in the background bless him!

I hope you all have a great weekend, we are staying at my Mums tonight to save a very cold journey home later so a lazy night is in order!

I hope to be back soon with some more of my cards that I have made and have been trying to blog without much luck until now.
