Late Happy New Year

HI

I hope everyone have a lovely Christmas and Happy New Year!  I had a lovely quiet Christmas with my family and Ruby who had a lovely time opening her presents, but she became bored after 10 minutes!!

No guesses what my New Years Resolution will be & that will be to get back into my crafting!  I am in the process of sorting my craft cupboards to get some order to them and clear out some of the stuff I don't & won't use.

I have already done some colouring this evening so watch this space (although I am not overly happy with my colouring so don't know if I will need more practice before I feel happy to blog them!)

Anyway, on 29th November Ruby celebrated her 1st birthday!  How time just flies by ;-(

I thought I would share some pictures from her birthday and the little tea party I had for her at my home.  Here she is the morning of her birthday in her new ball pit

All dressed ready to go out with Mummy & Daddy.  We went to see Father Christmas and have decided that as her birthday is so close to Christmas this would something we would do on her birthday!

Little Thank You Favours I had  made for her party guests

Party bags, cake and favours (excuse the unfinished paintwork in the kitchen, but we had a big rush to get the house finished for her party so the kitchen still needed to be tiled and painted - its all done now though!)

Birthday girl enjoying all the attention

I am off to finish sorting my cupboards and try to make a few cards this weekend so I can blog next week!  I am feeling very determined to organise myself and make my cards again!

See you soon,
Love

I am still here crafting

Hi to anyone that is still following and dropping by to see me. I know that my blogging habits are pretty abysmal really but Ruby and full time work just doesnt leave much time for me :-(

I wouldn't change it for the world and I cant wait till my little lady can share my crafting hobby with me.

Ruby is fully weaned and now sits up on her own although she is still quite dinky compare to others.

Here is a quick card I made for my Aunties birthday tomorrow.  Very simple with minimal embellishments and I ♥ it!!!

A close up of my Iimage and I am very pleased with my colouring even though I am rusty!
Also below this pic is a pic of my little lady. By for now as im struggling to upload from my phone xxx

Quick Hello

I just thought I would log on because I really haven't been on here much at all.  I keep dropping by my favourite blogs but I just don't seem to have time to upload.  I have been crafting when I can, but I have been preparing to go back to work.  I only have 2 weeks maternity leave left.

I am really nervous about going back and its been playing on my mind about leaving Ruby because I really don't want to.  After spending all my time with her I think it will be a really tough first few weeks back at work for me.

Anyway, I have no card to show you because I haven't kept up with my photos when I have made them recently but here is a picture of my little family yesterday.

Unfortunately Martin has lost both his Nans in the last few weeks and yesterday was the funeral of his Nan who passed away a week ago.  It was a sad and upsetting day but we came home and spent the day with little Ruby.

Right I am off to do some colouring as I have lots of Fathers Day orders before I go back to work.

New Baby

Hello

I am back with a New Baby card that I made for my Cousin who had her little girl over the weekend.  We are going through a baby boom in my family at the moment because my Sister is expecting her 3rd baby in July along with another of my Cousins - all girls too so they are definitely going to rule this family!

Ironically, my Cousin called her baby Evie Polly which is also the name my Sister has picked for her little girl but she says that she won't change it, so it looks like there will be 2 Evies'

Anyway, I bought some new papers yesterday when I went shopping with my Mum and they are from the Bundle of Joy Collection from Kaiser Craft - they are gorgeous and I have bought extra pages for Ruby's scrapbook!

I used my all time favourite Magnolia baby stamp which goes perfectly with these papers.  I also treated myself to some Promarkers so I tried a different colour combination to get this vintage pink which I just love.

I have added some lovely ribbon with "Congratulations" running through it along with a blingy slider.  The lace is from my stash along with the button and flower.

You can't really see it very well from the picture but I have stamped Evie Polly into the banner on the paper to make my own sentiment.  The cute little feet are punched from a Woodware punch that I have had for a while.

I have found a couple of challenges to enter my card into this week and they are: -

Right I better dash because poor little Ruby has a chest infection so isn't very well at all today.  I have taken her to the Doctors and she is on antibiotics but she is a grumpy lady today!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter Everyone!

I thought I would upload a card that I made a couple of weeks ago because I have been neglecting my little blog lately.  I bought some new stamps which could be teamed up with my Honeycomb paper and my Mum found me this set which I love!

I added one of my old Tilda's to the front and I have created a little scene inside with the stamp set!  How cool is this?  I love it!  I think you can just see the Honeycomb Hive in the middle, but its not a great photo!  I also found this lovely Magnolia paper when making an order from Sir Stampalot a couple of weeks ago.

I have had lots of orders and this has kept me busy in the spare time that I have, not that I have much anymore but this has meant that I have earned some pennies and treated myself to a Cake Pop Maker and lots of other accessories.  I can't wait for this to come so I can have a play.  I have had a Cupcake maker for  a little while now and love to do them so thought I would have a go at something different.  I may blog some of my creations if they are worthy of it, but I have bought it with ideas for Ruby's birthday parties - nothing like getting in front is there!!!

I couldn't blog without posting a few pics of my little Beaut!  She went to her first party a few weeks ago at the Bear Factory and came home with a cute little chick in time for Easter.  Her big Cousin Izzy was 4 and wanted Ruby to go so she could have a bear like her Friends.  My Mum treated her to the little outfit for her bear, but its something for Ruby to treasure from Izzy!

and her is my little Easter Bunny! (so annoying that I can't flip this!!!!)

Happy Easter!

Super Quick Magnolia Card

Hello

A little time has passed since my last post, but Ruby is now 12 1/2 weeks old and time is just flying by.  I just hope my remaining months off work don't go so quick.

Last night I made a card for my Auntie and Uncles wedding anniversary.  My Mum had reminded me about this card last week but I didn't make it and it was left till the last minute, but anyway I had these two images coloured up since before I had Ruby so I thought I may aswell use them.

It was a super quick card and I used my new Prima 6 X 6 paper pad called "Divine".

The lovely buckle is a Bella! Ribbon Bucklez and I think it really makes the card. A simple sentiment stamped in Distress Ink and there you go....

and of course,  I couldn't post without putting on a picture of my little beaut...... check that little smile out!  She has really come along over the last couple of weeks and is smiling, laughing and following me around the room.  Its her second lot of injections tomorrow so no doubt she won't be in a good mood tomorrow after those!

I will hopefully be back soon!
