Out of Hospital

Sorry I have not blogged for a while. I have been suffering with my Asthma really bad of late and it has just got out of control once again. I was admitted to Hospital early last week after a trip to A & E and wasn't released until mid this week - over 1 week later!!!! I don't think they know what to do with me!

Still on lots of medication along with steriods and using the Nebuliser quite alot, but today is the first time I have switched on my computer and took a look at what has been happening while I have been in Hospital. I haven't done any crafting at all since I have been home because I just haven't felt well enough, but I hope to do a little tomorrow after my Bridesmaids have had their fittings.

I am going to do a bit of blog hopping - maybe blog over the weekend with a card!

Tag Book

I have had a great night at the Craft Den tonight. I usually go to scrapbooking class every Thursday, but this week I can't make tomorrow so I asked Lynne if I could swop nights.

We made a tag book using lots of different techniques.




Lynne wanted us to all finish our projects tonight so we all had to keep up!!!



I have took pictures of each side of the book. My photos do not do it justice.



I am now thinking about what little pictures I can put in it!

Special Birthday Card

I have made this card for one of my Best Friends at work. Her birthday is next Monday and I have bought her a little prezzy, but I wanted to make her a really nice card.

She is such a special Friend because she has overcome breast cancer for the second time and is now back at work again. She is so brave.



I decided to use my new Pirate Tilda image that I bought from the NEC. I do have pirate Edwin to match, but thought that both of them would look too much on this card. I used my new Bo Bunny Jasmin papers that I got from the Craft Den yesterday - they are gorgous and I think I may have to get some more!!! I coulured Tilda with my copics and I used my new Texture Boutique that Martin bought me to texture the two scalloped ovals I cut with my nesties. I bought two embossing folders from the Craft Den yesterday as I didn't have any to use my new machine!!! I just love it and the effect it gives.



To finish the card I used purple ribbon and matching flower. I then placed a lovely verse in side. I am really happy with this card and I hope my Friend likes it. I did intend to use the pirate images for childrens cards but I couldn't wait any longer and I just had to ink her up!!!!

Wedding Bells

I hope you have all had a great "Good Friday". I made this card last night for an order that I had.

I never used to like doing wedding or anniversary cards, but now there is so many stamps that you can use I actually quite like doing them now.

I decided to use my new LOTV image that I got from the NEC. I wanted to create quite a soft look so decided to use some graphics 45 wedding papers that I have had for a little while. I picked the green out from the papers and decided to use this in my image. I love this image and it was so easy to colour.



I cut the image out in my oval nestie and used the reverse side of the paper to cut a heart out. I added some lace which isn't really visible on the picture with blue prima flowers and a green pearl brad for the centre. I added stickles and used some organza ribbon to tie round the card.
