Early Happy Christmas!

I haven't been blogging for a while and this has been the longest time I have gone without posting.

My asthma has been playing up for a while now and I just don't feel well/right with it at the moment. After many attacks and trips to Hospital/GP I now have an emergency appointment with the Professor looking after me on Tuesday!

I don't think I will be blogging now until after Christmas; however I have still kept crafting so will have lots to post in the new year!

I hope you all have a fab Christmas and I hope to be back after Christmas so I can pop by my favourite blogs and see what you have been up to!

Week 26 @ Anything Goes - Animals

Hello everyone,

Hope you are having a good week so far. I am counting the days until Friday, lol.

It's week 26 over at Anything Goes and this week our theme is ANIMALS. I did want to do a scrapbook page of my little Max; however things are very hectic at home trying to finish the decorating for Christmas so I started to think of a card I could make quite quickly.

Now I know you are wondering where the Animal is, but Tilda is dressed up as a reindeer and that is an animal!!! I just have to use all my new Tilda's from the Craft Den.

I can't wait to see what you come up with, so come and join us this week.

Week # 25 @ Anything Goes ~ Let it Snow

It's week #25 at "Anything Goes" this week and I have been such a bad blogger for the last week or so. My Asthma has just got in the way and I ended up missing last week's challenge! Sorry to the other DT members because I havent stopped by any blogs including Auntie Chanelle's so I am so sorry!

I am not really happy with this card, but I put it together over the weekend and thought it would fit the challenge well. I made the card for fun and utilised it as my DT project.

I used the new Nitwit stamp set along with the Nitwit papers. Lynne has recently recieved both the stamps, papers and decoupage sheets and they are fab!

It's a short and sweet post from me tonight because I want to try and stop by some of my blogging friends to leave comments.

I hope you can join us this week with our "Let it Snow" challenge!

Ice Cream Tilda

I hope everyone is having a great Saturday! Only one more sleep till I go to the NEC tomorrow, can't wait! My Auntie Chanelle has already called me this morning from her holiday to check the arrangements!!

Here is a card I made a couple of weeks ago for my Cousin's little girl, Mia. It's quite a simple card that my Auntie Chanelle gave me an idea for when she made my own birthday card here

I loved it so I purchased the ice cream cone and sat one of my new Tilda's on it!

Martin is at home decorating our living room so I am babysitting my little Brother. I think I may do some crafting now to get me in the mood for tomorrow!

Week 23 @ "Anything Goes"

It's week 23 at Anything Goes and this week our theme is the letter "B".

Now I have to admit this is not my best creation. I have been off work poorly because I keep having asthma attacks so it is driving me mad at the moment so my mind wasn't on the job 100% when I was doing this.

Hopefully it will do and in case you haven't guessed it then my card is "B" for Bumble Bee Tilda!

Come and join us this week at Anything Goes. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Birthday Card xx

Hi Everyone.... what a week so far!!!

Here is a card I have made over the last couple of days. Decorations are happening at my home which include knocking down and rebuilding in my living room so it's very hard to craft at the mo, but I am still managing to do my fav past time from boxes made up of essential items!!!! It will be worth it when it is finished and I have my own "proper" craft space and a nice living room of course!!

Here is a card I have made using my Kraftin Kimmie stamp, I have forgotten her name now but I just love her.

I have used some Magnolia papers and didn't add too much to the card because I didn't think it needed anymore.

I am off to Scarborough at the weekend so I can't wait! Have a good week!! Looking forward to the NEC too coming up to buy some more goodies.

Love,

Week 21 @ Anything Goes - Black n White

This weeks theme at Anything Goes is "Black n White". This was a tough one for me because I just didn't know what to do!!

Here is what I came up with.......

This is one of my favourite Tilda's, I just love her and I have used her on so many occasions. She is so easy to colour.

I dashed off to the Craft Den f on Saturday to look for some black and white papers and was so happy when I found these Zebra Magnolia papers. I then got home to start making my card and found that I had already bought the papers!!!! Typical of me!!!

I made my own apature card with my oval nestie and decorated the front of the card with my small retro flower punch with some scraps of pink paper. I used Tiara stickles for the centres of the flowers and added a little bit of black ribbon.

Everything I have used on my card is from the Craft Den.

I hope you like it and I can't wait to see what you come up with this week.

Week 20 @ Anything Goes - Ribbons

It's my 3rd week on the DT at Anything Goes and doesn't time fly???

It's week 20 and Ribbons is our theme!!! It's an easy one this week because we all have plenty of ribbon!!

Here is my card: -

I have used a gorgeous Tilda that I stamped at an all day Christmas workshop at the Craft Den a couple of weeks ago. I coloured her with DI, which is a technique I have recently learnt at the Craft Den. I think I am improving, slowly......

I have used the new Basic Grey Jovial papers along with a Crafworkcard new shaped card along with a new label with "Christmas Wishes" on. I love these new shaped sentiments.

I have used my ribbon to make my ribbon tree, which I first made at the Craft Den in the summer last year. I have tried to creat a little scene with the tree and Tilda putting her presents under, but unsure whether it works or not!?!

Everything I have used on my card is from the Craft Den. I hope you like it and I can't wait to see the entries this week!

Week 19 @ Anything Goes & Christmas has come early!!!

Christmas always comes early for me because I have so many cards to make that I always have to make an early start.

It's my second week on the DT for Anything Goes and I decided to get my new KARS X-mas paper pad out and use the gorgeous papers. Lynne also has the ribbon, brads and pins to match the papers and I just love them!!

I used my new Silent Night Tilda who is new in at the Craft Den and attempted colouring with DI for the second time.... don't look too close.

I also added a lovely lace doily heart that I bought a couple of months ago. I got my new EK sucess snowflake punch out again to punch another christmas border like I did for my last DT project. I love this punch and it is a must for Christmas cards and scrapbook pages. I then added red stickles to the heart and some Blonde Moments buttons in place of the flowers that usually appear on my cards. If you look closely you can see the gorgeous green star pin!!

Hope you can join us again this week.

Week 18 - "Going Roun in Circles" - MY FIRST DT XX

I was so excited when Lynne at the Craft Den asked me to join her DT. I love going to the Craft Den every week and I was really pleased. Thanks Lynne!

So here goes my first DT project for the Anything Goes Challenge.

I know it's a little early for a Christmas card; however I wanted to use my new Christmas stash from the Craft Den.

I used my new Cozy Tilda which I missed out on last year, I just love her and she is so cute. I punched the side of my card with my new EK Success snowflake punch. This is a great punch and goes through card stock. Great for edging cards.

I coloured Tilda with my copics and added Diamond Stickles to the edge of her coat and hood. I used Cranberry Blush papers which are Black Market and when I saw them at the Craft Den I knew I had to have them. I love Christmas papers in non traditional colours.

I added "round" Kars glitter brads along with my oval scalloped nestie and round craftworkcard sentiment to cover the "round" theme this week.

All products used on my card are from the Craft Den. I hope you like my first DT creation. Come and join us this week.

Christmas Workshop

I have had a great day at the Craft Den today. It was the all day Christmas workshop and I have learnt lots of different techniques. It was a really good day - thanks Lynne!

We made 4 cards, handbag and a bookmark!!

Here are some of the cards that I made using the new Craftwork Card materials Lynne has on sale. I distressed the snowflake windows with DI and added stickles and card candy in co-ordinating colours.

For this card I used the lovely papers as a feature and added a border, sentiment and card candy to embellish the card.

I really enjoyed making these cards because I always tend to use a coloured image on my cards - usually a Magnolia, but it was nice to try something different.

Hope you like them!

Quick Card with my new Tilda with Thistle

I have been to the Craft Den tonight and had a great class. I missed last weeks class so I couldn't wait to go! I couldn't miss tonight because Lynne has had the delivery of the Magnolia's!! It's my birthday next week so I decided to spend some of my pennies on a few Tilda's. I bought Silent Night Tilda, Sitting Tilda with pumpkins, Hells Broth and Tilda with Thistle.

I couldn't wait to get home and play so I decided to make a very quick card with the Thistle Tilda. She is part of the Halloween Collection which I didn't know, but I love her spider web trimmed dress!

It's a very simple card which didn't take me long to complete, but I am quite pleased with it.

I used my new Memory Box Blackbird papers which are great for Halloween cards & birthdays. I coloured Tilda with my Promarkers for a change and also added stickles to the thistle and trim of dress. I used my new WOJ "Happy Fright Night" sentiment and added a bit of card candy, I haven't used them for ages so because I had made a very simple card I thought they would sproose it up a little!!

I can't wait for the weekend - 1 more day to go!!

LOTV Xmas Card xxx

Hello everyone. I hope you are all having a great bank holiday weekend. I have had a nice weekend so far. We went out for tea last night to celebrate Martin's Sister's 21st birthday and we have been out for Sunday lunch today with my Mum, Dad, Nan and Grandad, but I have a stinking cold so I feel rubbish - typical!!

I haven't done much crafting this weekend because I have started a couple of projects that are taking me a little while to complete so here is another Christmas card that I made last weekend.

I used another of my new LOTV images and used my new papers from the Craft Den (can't remember their name now because I am uploading at my Mum's - sorry!!). I love how different the papers are for Christmas. Sometimes I get a little bored with red/gold and green and I like to use something different.

I wanted to use a different embellie instead of the usual flowers so I decided to make a ribbon flower that I have seen Kathryn make many times and I just love the effect. I coloured the image with my copics and used lots of stickles.

I hope you like it and I hope you enjoy the rest of bank holiday!

Skating By.....

Oops don't know what happened with the last post!

Here is my second Christmas Card using the new LOTV image. I have made this for my Cousin who loves to ice skate so I thought that this would be perfect.

I made a small easel card with my new Cosmo Cricket papers, love them. I punched the snowflakes with my MS punch and added my new silver Kars glitter brads from the Craft Den to the Centres.

I added lots of stickles and coloured the image with my copics.

Large Christmas Tags!

I have started to make my Christmas cards so that I can try and get in front this year. I make my own cards and my Mum's so if I leave it until the last minute it can get a bit stressful!!

I am trying to make 2 at the same time, one for me, one for Mum!!!

I wanted to do something different so I tried making large tags to send instead of cards for the younger children in our family. I am really pleased with them.

I used my Bo Bunny papers that I had left from last Christmas along with some glitter mistletoe paper, I love this paper but it was my last sheet :-(

I used my new LOTV image, Baby's 1st Christmas - it's soo cute!

I coloured with my Copics and then stamped around the edge of the frame with a Lavinia Snowflake stamp. I then went around the edges with a distress ink! I also made an area on the back to write on with some plain card.

Some More Weding Cards

Hello everyone. I have been off work today poorly so I had to take a trip the Dr's first thing this morning for some tablets. I am just starting to come round, but still feel rubbish. Never mind, here are the remainder of my cards that I made last weekend.

The first is my favourite LOTV image because I have used it so much. It is so easy to colour and always makes a lovely wedding/anniversary card.

Again, I have used the Bo Bunny peacock papers - that's them all gone now. The wedding theme is purple so I have tried to follow this through on all the cards.

Same image, different layout and I used the off cuts of my papers from the first card.

My Auntie Chanelle kindly let me use her old wedding Magnolia image. I love it! I used some nice wedding papers and just added purple embellies.

Everything I have used on the cards except for the images are from the Craft Den!

I hope you like them and you all have a good weekend.

Crafting Weekend!

When my Mum called me at work on Friday and told me that I couldn't go to her house over the weekend because my little brother Owen had chicken pocks I was gutted. I am very close to my Mum and go every weekend. I have never had them and it is supposed to be dangerous to people who have asthma so I have had to stay away. (I am back today though!! lol)

Martin has been busy in our garden all weekend so I have been sat crafting. My Mum's Friend at work is getting married at the beginning of September so I have started to make some cards for orders. Her colour is purple so I thought the Bo Bunny Peacock papers were great to use.

It's really hard to make different cards for weddings because I only have a couple of wedding stamps so my favourite crafty Auntie lent me some of her stash to make different cards. I have been busy and made 4 cards in total, but here is my first. I love this one.

I made my own swirl with a viva pearl pen and added some flowers which I purchased some time ago at the Craft Den. I also added a couple of pins and a congratulations sentiment. I used the WOJ sitting willow on the matching swing - love it! I coloured her with my copics and added stickles.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

We arrived back yesterday evening from our honeymoon. We had a really good time and I am so sad it is now all over - the wedding and the honeymoon! They have both come and gone so quickly.

Here are a couple of photos of me & Martin on honeymoon

I will hopefully be back with some crafty makes soon after I have done all the washing!!!
