Ladybug xx

Made this card with my new Ladybug stamp from Magnolia - I just love it and has got to be one of my most favourite stamps.

I coloured her with my copics and added some stickles. I tried to find some ladybird paper, but couldn't find it anywhere, but found this red dotted glitter paper, which I think goes well.

Cut the image out in my oval Nellie C and mounted her on plain black card cut out with my Nestie.

My Mum picked this ladybird ribbon up for me quite some time ago and I have been waiting to use it, but didn't have anything to use it with. This was the perfect stamp! I layered the ladybirds on black ribbon so it stood out.

Hope you like it! Have a good weekend.

Dancing Willow

Hello - half way through the week and only 2 days left till the weekend!! Here is a card that I was asked to make for an 18th Birthday. I think this image is perfect!

I coloured the image with my copics and cut it out in my Nellie C. I then mounted the image on black card cut out of an oval nestie. I used black flock paper from the Craft Den and added silver ribbon with a heart diamante button. I kept it simple.

Izzy's Birthday

Here is a card that I have made for my little niece, Isabella. Her 1st birthday is coming up soon and I decided to follow the sketch over at the Sugar Bowl by Tiets. I have never done a sketch before, but really enjoyed doing this.

The"PLEASE INCLUDE" was 3 flowers, 2 brads and 1 button on your creation.

My two brads on in the middle of the flowers. I have layered Prima flowers in 2 different colours and then stickled them with Candy Cotton. I added a large yellow heart button.

I have used my new digi download from Sugar Nellie called Web Knitter. Hope you like it.

Card Class @ Craft Den & Mothers Day

Here is a card that I made on Wednesday evening at the Craft Den. My card was a little different to the card that Lynne had shown us, but because I chose a slightly different paper Lynne helped me change the layout a little to suit my papers. I really love this card and was pleased with how it turned out - thanks Lynne!

The new Magnolia's have just landed at the Craft Den so we used Happy Tilda for the card. I coloured her with my copics and the borders on the right hand side of the card are created with an MS punch. The papers are from a 6 x 6 pad from Basic Grey.

I had already decided to give this to my Mum for Mother's Day (yes she does read my blog, but I show her all my cards as soon as I have made them so she has seen this anyway!!!) Lynne has kindly let me enter this card for this weeks Quixotic Challenge which is "Something for Mum" chosen by Rowena.

Everything I used was from the Craft Den, obvioulsy because I made it there, lol. Hope you like it.

Friend's Birthday

I made this card for my Friend at work because her Birthday is this week. I used one of my old Sugar Nellie stamps, I just love this image and it is one of my favourites.

Sorry about the poor pictures I took them last night so the light wasn't great.

I added a couple of buttons. My Mum picked the one up in the top right corner for me. I love them and I don't like to use them - only 5 left!

Coloured the image with my copics again. It's quite a dark and gothic card, but I like it.

Hope you do!

Martin's Sister's Birthday

Just a quick post before I go and pick my Mum up from work. Martin's youngest Sister is 15 on Tuesday so this is the Birthday card I have made her. I used my new Kimmie stamp that Martin bought me for Valentines day along with another that I blogged a little while ago.

The papers I used are MME and were a freebie with a craft magazine that I bought on Friday. I added some bling and a tag with sister doodled on it. Quixotic challenge this week is "Tag it" so I am going to enter this card.

Hope you like it!

Fun Valentines Cards

My Mum asked me to make two valentines cards. The fun one I have made for my Dad is an idea that my Mum told me about. Her Friend had made a similar card and my Mum thought it was funny! My Mum's is obviously nice and pretty.

Here is Dad's card from my Mum......

and Mum's card from my Dad......

I have done the same design for each card, but just varied it a little. I kept them simple as I made both these cards last night. Both cards have Blonde Moments paper in the background, one in black and white and the other in pink. I added a new charm that I got from Quixotic a couple of weeks ago. Both images are coloured with my copics.

Me, my Mum & Dad Scrapbook Page

Been to the Craft Den tonight. Lynne had designed another great layout. I decided to use this old picture of me with my Mum and Dad on their wedding day. I love this picture.

We cut out the basic grey origins paper and mounted onto black bazzill.

We scrunched our own paper flowers and added a small flower to the centre.

I added a bit of black lace, bling and a Tim Holtz "Bliss" ticket, which I edged with a distress ink when I got home.

Cousin's Birthday

Hello,

Nathan, my Cousin is 16 tomorrow. Chanelle told me that he had got a moped for his birthday so me and my Mum found these downloads, which we thought would be perfect. Well the first one with the moped is, but I still like the second with the car for a boy card.

Here is the one I made for my Mum.......

I used my Promarkers to colour the image, but I couldn't shade the image because the printer ink smudges. I do quite like the vibrant colours though because they go with the papers.

Here is the one I made for me, my Sister and Brother........

I really do like this image and think that it will come in handy. I have coloured this with my Promarkers again. I have kept both cards simple because I don't like to add too much to a boys card. Hopefully Nathan will like them - my Dad did anyway so that's a start!!!

Sleeping Pixie for my little Grandma

My little Grandma's birthday is at the end of the month. She is no longer with us, but I always like to make a card for her to take to the Cemetery with the flowers. It's not too fussy and quite simple.

I actually got the idea from a sample card that Lynne at the Craft Den had made - it was gorgeous! I would have never have picked the papers in a million years if I hadn't seen the card Lynne had made so I bought them in a couple of colours (sorry I don't know the name or design).

I used my new deep edge MS border punch that I got from the Craft Den last week. I just love it and can make a simple card look great, which is what I wanted with this card.

I am also going to enter this card for this weeks Quixotic Challenge, which is "I believe in Fairies". It's a little late, but hopefully I will still be in time!

Right - off to do some more crafting on my day off!!

Oh Baby!!!

I am so glad it's Friday tomorrow. I have got lots of new stash from the Craft Den over the last two weeks and I am going to sit and play with it over the weekend.

I have had another great night at the Craft Den at my weekly scrapbooking class. I need to finish my page though, but I will blog it when I do.

My Friend at work only has 5 weeks left before she goes on maternity leave to have her first baby. I started to make her a card yesterday with my Whiff of Joy stamp that I bought a little while ago.

I used my "Lazy Summer Day's - Blue Line" Magnolia paper for the background. I was worried when I first put the card together because I thought that it looked "boyish". Hopefully it doesn't because my friend has chosen not to find out whether the baby is a boy or girl! What do you think?

I coloured the image with my copics, but also used my Jewelz Water Colour Palette to highlight the baby blanket with mica interference gold.

I added a couple of prima vintage coloured flowers with a pearl brad centre and yellow heart pin. I also added baby blue lace. The image is cut out with my nellie c.

Hope you like it.

Little Boy's Card

I have made this card for my Mum. Her Friend's little boy is 2 soon so I thought that I would use this fun download for something different. The image has been printed for a little while now so my copics didn't smudge as they have before.

I found these papers over the weekend when sorting out my stash. They were one of the first sets that I bought from the Craft Den when I first started going to scrapbooking classes. I thought that they would be great for this image. I have done a few layouts with them so decided to use the remainder for cards.

I used my new nellie c with my circle nestie - they work so well together. I then added little Josh's name with the matching stickers that came with the papers.

Here is a closer picture of my image. I think my colouring is getting better!

Hope you like it!
