When I went to the Craft Den on Thursday night for my weekly scrapbooking class Lynne showed me the card that the Wednesday evening class had made. The card was made using the fab "Hougie Board" and is called a "Stepper". I love them so off I went yesterday to pick my board up.
I had a lovely, but busy day yesterday. It was the last fittings for my Bridesmaids so I didn't manage to do any crafting yesterday, but I decided to do some today. It is my Mum's birthday next Tuesday (8th June) so I wanted to make her a special card.
She is the best Mum ever and this is what I came up with for her........
I used my Tilda blowing bubbles. I have cut round the image so I have made my own bubbles with Glossy Accents. I used my new Tim Holtz "Vintage Shabby" papers which I got from the Craft Den also, they are just gorgeous.
I added a couple of prima paper flowers with a pearl pink brad and cut the leaves with my MS punch.
I have to say that I am really pleased with this card and I am going to busy making lots of "Steppers". It is so easy to make using the "Hougie Board".
Hope you like it!

Housemouse Creations
Evening All,
Here are a couple of cards I have made for orders. I am quite into Housemouse at the moment thanks to my Auntie Chanelle!!
The first card is made using the "Fancy Pants" stamp which I bought from Stressed Stampers Clearance Blog. I have ordered quite a few from there and all the stamps were great and looked brand new!! I love this image.
The second is using an image I borrowed from a Friend called "Berried". I used Basic Grey "Strawberry Shortcake" papers and I think they work perfectly with this image.
Hope you like them!

Prince Charming!
Hello,
I have spent most of my day crafting again. I need to get my crafting in now because the wedding is in less than 5 weeks so I think things will slow up then.
I mentioned on my blog not so long ago that I was making "Thank You" cards for my Bridesmaids and Paige Boy. I started my Bridesmaid cards, but I wanted to do something different. So I got my Prince Charming Edwin out!! I don't know if this is his correct name, but this is what I am calling him anyway. Here he is....
My Nephew is only 2 years old so I wanted to keep things simple. I used magnolia's "Vanilla Dots" paper and my brand new Tim Holtz Alterations Sizzix Die. I love this latch and it's my prize possession at the moment!! I have used a cute little 5 x 5 cards which I think are ideal for thank you cards.
I hope you like it as much as I do. Bye for now.
xx

LOTV - Challenge 53
Hi Everyone,
I hope you are having a good weekend. I have spent the day crafting. I was blog hopping last night and came across the LOTV Challenge Blog so I thought that I would have a go. I bought lots of LOTV images at the NEC and I think I have used the wedding stamp more than I have ever used a stamp before. I love it.
I have followed the sketch, but I rotated it to suit the image which is landscape rather than portrait. I love these cute rabbits.
I used my Bo Bunney papers Jasmin papers for this card. I love these papers and have used them for lots of cards. I have dug out some old gem stash which must be years old, but I thought they went well with this card.
I hope you like it. Hopefully post tomorrow after some more crafting!!!

Lili of the Valley Card
Evening All,
It's a late post I know, but I have been crafting all night so wanted to upload before I went to bed.
I made this card during the week for a order. I used some beautiful Graphic 45 papers I have had in my stash for a while called the "Baby & Bride" collection. I also used my LOTV wedding stamp that I bought from the NEC. I love it!!
I coloured the image with my copics, but I had a go at paper piecing on the wedding dress. I have wanted to do this for ages so had a go and I think it looks okay!
I used some Prima flowers with some old skeleton leaves I have had in my stash since I first starting crafting. It's good to use old stash! I added pearl buttons to the centre of my flowers with a new silver pin I bought recently.
I am really pleased with how the card turned out, I hope you like it too! I am off to bed now!

New Tilda
My first day back at work today, I have been really busy but it is really nice being back to normal again. Although for some reason I do feel really tired and don't want to do much when I get home.
My wedding is 6 weeks on Saturday and I wanted to make "Thank You" cards for my Bridesmaids. I wanted the new Fairytale Magnolia images because I think they are perfect for what I want them for. One of the dresses that Tilda wears even looks a little like my bridesmaid dresses. I bought a few at the weekend when I was out with my Mum. I started to colour my images last night with the hope of making two of my 6 cards tonight, but I came home from work and had another card order so I decided to use my new fairy dust Tilda ( I think this is what she is called, but I am not 100% sure).
.
I gave her red hair like my Sister and decided to use my Basic Grey Origins pad that I have nearly used up. I don't usually like green, but I decided to try using different colours for a change.
I have distressed the paper with Tim's distresser and I have added black lace which you can't see very well because I have covered most of it up! I didn't want this to happen, but I then didn't want to cut away at my paper and lose the flower pattern. I added little black flowers that I punched from my tiny retro punch and I added stickles to give the look of fairy dust. I have also added some pearls on wire. Excuse the wet stickles and glue on the pictures, but if I didn't take a picture straight away I wouldn't done it at all!
Hope you like it! I will get back onto my Bridesmaid cards tomorrow night! Can wait to get them started.

Finally, a little crafting.........
I hope you are having a great bank holiday weekend. Blogger is just being a nightmare today. I have made three cards and wanted to show them all, but I could only upload the pictures of my first card!!! Typical, I have never had three cards to share since I started my blog!!!
Before I went into Hospital I had a couple of orders for my Mum's Friend. I didn't manage to do them before I was taken in Hospital and I thought that it would be too late when I came home but luckily it wasn't. I had made an easel card using my Papermakeup Monster stamp for another order not long ago and she liked them, but said that her little boys liked Dinosaurs! So this was my excuse to buy the Woodwear Dino Set. I think it will come in handy for little boys cards.
I used my Blonde Moments papers and added a little heart border with some ribbon (I think this is okay for a boy!!). I coloured Dino with my Copics and edged the paper with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink to give a bit of a worn look.
I have left the card blank because I intend to put the little boy's name in there who the card is made for. I just need to check the spelling before I do!!
