A couple of different cards for me!

Hello,

I hope everyone is having a good weekend so far. It's been a quiet one for me and I am off craft shopping in a little while so I thought I would show you a couple of cards that I made at a new craft class this week that I went to with my Auntie Chanelle.

I would never do anything like this myself so it was really nice to try something different and get a little bit messy!!

Here is the first one....

I love how the shimmer comes through the blue distressed background and the black ink on the butterfly.

Here is the second which I have to say is my favourite. I just love the flowers and I think they were made with Paper Artsy stamps (sorry if I am wrong!!)

I think I need more practice with the distress backgrounds, but practice makes perfect - I hope!

I really enjoyed making the cards because it is so nice to try something new and not something you would do at home.

Love,

Blog Award xx

Thank you Anutie Chanelle for my 3rd Blog Award - it's made my day!

There are a couple of conditions for the award

You have been TAGGED and want to participate? Then create a post where you post the 'LOVE BLOG' image. You should also blog the persons link that gave you the award and inform her/him that you accept the award. You can then choose 3 - 5 favourite blogs which you also link in your post, then each blogger will inform you that they have been tagged

Dear bloggers:
The aim of this action is that we bring unknown, good blogs to light,

so I would ask you not to blog fellow bloggers that already have 3,000 followers.

I follow so many blogs so it was a very hard choice; however here are my 3........

1) lil-paper-pixie

2) Stressed Stamper

3) A Technophobes Blog

I could add to the list, but they have already been chosen.

Magnolia Card

I had another fab night crafting with my Auntie Chanelle on Wednesday night. It was great, she came equipt with papers, stamps and punches.

Auntie Chanelle came up with the layout so I can't take credit for it. We used some lovely Magnolia papers with a wood effect and blue flowers on them. Chanelle cut 100's of tiny flowers out from the paper. I opted for the punches with a tiny Magnolia flower in the middle.

The image is Chanelle's from her "tiny" magnolia collection as she calls it (not!!). The gorgeous blue velvet ribbon works so well with the papers and we added a lovely ribbon slider.

I am sure Chanelle will be uploading her card very soon! Right I am going to print off lots of Kenny K downloads for my Valentines card orders along with print my new Magnolia image.... I can't wait to colour her!

Fab Night Crafting & A Pretty Card

Well last night I had a fab night crafting with my Auntie Chanelle. It was so funny because she wasn't impressed with my craft equipment!!!! I think she may be bringing her own next week!!!

We decided to make a different shaped card and as usual she came with everything I needed and a few extra little bits of crafty stash for me. If you craft she is the best Auntie to have!!!

Here is what I made. If you clink on the Chanelle link above you will see the lovely card she made over Christmas for my Uncle Al using some Kenny K images.

I used my beautiful Magnolia Love & Ladybug Tilda. If you look closely you will see the lovely hat pin Chanelle brought for me.

I coloured the images with Pro Markers and Copics and I added some stickles. I used my TH shabby papers.

Chanelle also brought me the new Magnolia Ink mag and the cards in there are just beautiful. I love how lots of the older stamps are used so it gives you ideas. I think I NEED some of the new ones though!!!

Love,

Something Fun!

Hello,

I hope everyone is okay. I have had a rough couple of weeks after Christmas, but hopefully things are getting better.

I haven't done as much crafting as I would hope, but I am going to try and get back into my blogging again now. I am sorry if I haven't visited everyone for a little while!

I wanted to make something fun and different so check Allure Von D out from Kenny K!!! When I saw Bev's post yesterday I went straight to the Kenny K site and bought some digis. I love them!!!

After all the steroids I have been on for months and months due to my asthma I have gained 3 stone so I would love to have a bod like this!!! I have modelled her on my Sister hence the red hire, he he!!

I have used plain card stock and just let the image do the talking!!!

Love,
