I haven't blogged for a little while because my laptop had a virus so I had to take it to be fixed. Hopefully it will be okay now (touch wood!!).
I have had a busy weekend. Me and Martin went wedding ring shopping today and then we went to my Mums for sunday dinner. I then wanted to come home and make a card my Mum had asked me to make for her Friend's birthday at work, but I didn't feel too good. I feel a bit better now so decided to make a card.
This stamp was the first stamp my Mum ever bought me. I had a hip replacement nearly 5 years ago and while I was off work I bought a craft box from QVC and thats when I started crafting because it gave me something to do during the day when my Mum was at work and I would get bored.
The stamp was from a local craft shop that has now closed down. I really like it, but she was at the bottom of my wooden stamps box and I haven't used her for a long time. She is a stamp that doesn't need alot adding to her soo she can make quite a quick and easy card. The flower is prima and I have placed a pearl on top of a flat head brad (thanks Lynne for showing me this!) and placed inside my new spacer from the Craft Den to make the flower centre.
I cut the image out on my mega nestie and also mounted her on a off yellow colour paper. I used my new Basic Grey Origins pad from the Craft Den and although it is new I have used this so much - there is hardly anything left!!!
Hope you like it!
