Making a start on my Christmas cards.....

Hi All

I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday.  I am having a very lazy day today for a change.

I haven't been well over the last couple of weeks and I have been signed off work with high blood pressure and terrible swelling of my feet and legs so I  have had to to rest at home.  Only 8 weeks to go and counting!

I have coloured a few images to pass my time and I have started to make my Christmas cards to try and be organised.

My Mum bought me this lovely Urban Stamp - Tulip Christmas which is called Mistletoe Friends and I love it so I made a simple Christmas card ideal for a couple.

I didn't use any designer paper on this card at all and I love the effect.  I also used a 7 x 5 card for something different because I always tend to stick to 8 x 8 or 6 x 6 which can get a little boring.

I coloured the image with my Promarkers and added some snowflakes using my MS punch.  The ribbon is from my stash along with the brown button.

I loved making the card because it was nice to do something different from my usual cute cards and it was a nice change to get a different end result rather than the same old, same old!

I am off now to have dinner and then get my feet up and watch some TV - I can't miss Downton Abbey or Homeland so no colouring for me tonight!

Love,
