Hello and an update

Once again I have been very rubbish at posting on my little blog.  I have been very busy over the last couple of weeks and have had lots of ups and downs with my pregnancy again!!!  I finally finished work a couple of weeks ago so I have been much better since I could rest up at home.

I am now 37 weeks pregnant and after an hospital appointment last Thursday I have found out that I am now going to be induced next Saturday 24th November at 38 weeks due to the complications and pain that I am now in.

On a plus side we did get to see our little girl again on Thursday when I had another scan to see if my placenta had moved and reality is now kicking in me thinks :-)

I am very excited, but very scared (of the labour!!!) at the same time!

I have been busy making lots of cards for orders that my Mum has taken for me so I am hopefully going to get them finished before I go into Hospital.  Other than that I am ready to go for next week!

I hope to post very soon with pictures of my beautiful little girl when she arrives and with some Christmas cards that I have been making over the last few months to get organised!  For once I think I may have done it this year!

Love Kerry x

  1. Hi Kerry, OMG you must be so excited now. Can't wait to see the photos of your beautiful daughter. You are going to be such a fab mummy. Don't worry too much about the labour although it's painful it is so worth it once you hold your little girl in your arms for the first time, you will never know love like it. Love Sandra x

  2. Hi Kerry

Sorry to hear that you have had some complications. Wishing you every happiness as your little baby girl arrives next weekend. I can imagine that it is very exciting but scary at the same time. I will be thinking of you and can't wait to see some photos!

    Take care,

  3. Hi Kerry,
Your little baby girl will soon be here!! I bet you are both so excited (and a little nervous) as the big day fast approaches.

I am the biggest wuss in the world, I hate hospitals and I am definitely not very brave. I had to be induced with Hal (my blood doesn't clot properly and they were worried that if I went into labour at home I could bleed to death before getting to hospital) and I remember sitting there and dreading the labour, after all, everyone tells you bad it is! But my Mum said "You have to remember Elaine, that if labour was so unbearable then women would just stick to having one".

My honest opinion of labour? It wasn't half as bad as people had told me, it was a bearable pain, and the moment they put your little girl into your arms, everything else just melts away.

Looking forward to seeing baby photos next.
Big hugs and I hope everything goes well for you.

    Love Elaine xxx
