Kraftin Kimmie

I got an early Valentines present from Martin this week. He got or should I say "I picked!!" a couple of Kraftin Kimmie stamps. I really like them and think they are different.



I coloured the image with my copics while I was at my Mums tonight so I didn't match the colours to my papers as I usually try to do, but when I got home I found this glitter paper that I bought from the Craft Den a little while ago.



I added a couple of Prima flowers with a prima jewel in the centre. I used some black lace that my Mum picked up for me a little while ago and added it to my punched MS valentine strip.



I also saved the little love hearts that were punched from the middle of the MS punch and added them to the "love potion".

I have only used one paper for this card because anymore and I think it would have been too busy. I am really happy with it.

Sparkling Tilda

My Mum asked me to make a card for a friend at work so I decided to get out
my "Sparkling Tilda" that I got from the Craft Den. I just love her and she is great for any card. My Mum took the pictures tonight because I think mine are just awful, so dull. I "borrowed" my Nan's light box to take the pictures - it's now mine!!!!



I used up my scraps left over from my favourite papers, which are Blonde Moments. My MS punch came out too. I used my new Nellie from the Craft Den and I just love it - I pinched an idea from Lynne and placed my cut out image into my large oval nestie.



Here is a close up of my image which I coloured with my copics and added a little stardust stickles to her wings and halo.

I added some matching flowers and I am really pleased with this card.

2gether Scrapbook Page

We had another great night at the Craft Den tonight. Lynne had done us a great layout using black Bazzill & Blonde Moments Yorkshire Pudding papers.

We stamped the Blonde Moments paper with one of Tim Holtz's background stamps. I have never used this stamp before but I really liked it.

The photographs are of me, Sam (my sister) and our Mum & Dad on holiday in our favourite place, Newquay Cornwall.



I used the swirl template to creat my own bling, but then added to it when I got home with my own Viva Pearl Pen. I used a couple of small punched flowers to hide some mistakes!!!!





I am really pleased with my page and can't wait to give it to my Mum for her Album.

Easter with Magnolia

I have not kept up with my blogging over the last week. It seems a long time since I last blogged. I did want to post on Sunday, but I then woke up with a head cold and felt rubbish since. I feel better now though so I wanted to make a start on some easter cards for my Mum to send. Found some papers with some chicks on and thought that this would be ideal.

My Mum picked me the Butterfly ribbon, which I just love. I coloured the Magnolia with my copics and added some sweet pea flower soft on top of the stickles. I am a bit into flower soft at the moment!! I added a leaf hat pin to my flower.

40th Birthday Card with Dottie

Hello,

Martin, my boyfriend asked me to make a card for his Auntie who is 40 on Thursday. I don't really know her that well, but really wanted to use this download of Kareoke Dottie because I just think she is so funny!!!

I used some Sandylion papers that I got from the Craft Den ages ago. I coloured Dottie with my Promarkers for a change and I stickled her "boob tube" and microphone.



I added some black dotty ribbon and cut the black background after drawing round my colour my world template.

Handbag Stamped Images Holder

I have had this card handbag in my stash for ages. I didn't know what to do with it. I decided to make a stamped images holder hence why I made a box to place in between the card hangbags to put the images in. I covered the handbags in Wild Blossom 8 x 8 papers by Dovecraft and placed matching chipboards on the front bag. I then cut the butterfly on my big shot and added some gems to decorate.



I used my Tea Dye Distress Ink to edge the holder along with colouring the handles. I also used liquid pearls to decorate the handles.

Pug Luv

When I saw this image called "Pug Luv" on Mo's Digital Pencil I just loved it and had to get it. I thought it would be great for Valentines cards, but also could be used for birthdays. He is soo cute. When I printed him off I thought that I would make my first valentines card.



I used Cinnamon Hearts paper from Sandylion. I faux stitched my letters cut on the Xyron and cut my pug out with a scalloped circle nestie on my Big Shot.

I also got my new prize possession out, my MS Valentine Lace punch which I just love.

First Scrapbook Page of 2010

Here is my first scrapbook page of 2010. The snow is clearing and the Craft Den is back open so I went to my usual scrapbook class tonight.

The pictures are of me and my Sister when we were little on holiday.



Here are some close up pictures of the detail. I can't remember the name of the papers that we used - sorry!!



We cut out the roses and made our own bling with a brown viva pearl pen. Just noticed that I have smudged a couple of times on this homemade bling!!!!

Mum & Dads Anniversary

I have made this card for the best Mum and Dad in the world..... MINE!!!

My Mum and Dad will have been married for 26 years on Thursday so I have made them this anniversary card. I have used my Whiff of Joy stamp with my K & Co papers. The card is an easel, which are so easy to do.

Whimsy Lion

I think this has to be one of my favourite stamps!! I know it isn't cute or girly, but I just really love it! I made this card for my little Nephew again, but this time the card is for my Mum. The Lion stamp is from the Whimsy Animals Collection. I have coloured him with my Copics. The papers are Three Bugs in a Rug and I have made the "Grandson" sentiment on the PC. I have tried to take a pic of the little Lion charm that I have attached with ribbon to the card. It took me ages to think of how to attach the charm to this card. When I use charms on girly cards I hang them from the flowers but I couldn't really do this for a boy but I wasn't leaving the matching charm out!!! This is the last of my cards for little Ryley! Hope you like it!!

Another Little Monster

I thought I would do another boy card for my Nephew. This is Gus from Papermakeup. I have made this one for my little Brother to give to Ryley for his birthday. Just my Mum's left to do now! I used my Halloween My Minds Eye papers. I think I need to purchase to some "boy" papers!!!

My Sister's Little Monster

My Nephew is 2 years old next week. When I saw this image I just knew I had to have it for Ryley because he is a little monster if ever I did see one!!! The image is Papermakeup and he is called Argus. I even bought another monster from the same range called Gus, he will come in handy for another boys card. I don't usually like doing cards for boys/men, but I loved doing this one. I used the remainder of my Bo Bunny Boo Crew papers from Halloween because I thought the bright colours would go really well with my green monster!! I am sorry about the poor picture - I am still trying to improve!!!!

Birthday Card No 2

Here is another card that I made for my cousin. This time I have made this one for my Mum to send. I make all of my Mum's cards aswell as my own. Hopefully my Dad will be able to hand deliver the cards and prezzy tomorrow in the snow!!!! The stamp is Papermakeup, which I just love.

First Card

Here is my first card. It is for my Cousin's birthday which is next week. It is with my new Greetings Farm stamp that I coloured with my copics. I am still learning with the copics so my blending isn't great. The papers are Creative Imaginations that my Mum picked up from the Great Northern Paper Craft Show in September. My Cousin is mad on handbags so I thought this paper matched really well. I made my own flower with my retro punch from the reverse side of the paper used on my card and then added a charm brad. Excuse the pictures I need more practice. Hope you like it!

First Post

My first ever post!!!!!!

My new years resolution was to start my own blog. I was meant to start last year but kept putting it off. I have never really shared my cards or creations with anyone except my Mum before so this is a big thing for me. It has taken me hours to get my blog how I wanted it. I didn't want to post for the first time without a picture of a card; however because Christmas has come and gone I do not have any cards in reserve to show.
