MDUC Challenge # 134 - Sketch

Just a quick post from me tonight because I have a terrible cold which has just started my asthma off a treat. I feel rubbish!!

Here is a card that I made a couple of days ago for a order. I saw the MDUC Sketch and thought I would play along.

I used my Super Hero Edwin and just some papers that I had in my stash. He is coloured with Promarkers as always.



Nothing fancy, but I like it.



Right I am off to have tea, watch One Born Every Minute and then bed (in that order!!!)

Just for you Edwin!

Hello,

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far!

I have been making some party invitations for a order so haven't made any cards over the last couple of days, but here is a card that I made at my craft class this week at the Craft Box.



I really loved this design and image because I don't often use Edwin on his own and it was really simple to make!



Edwin isn't coloured to my best because I coloured him at my class, but he looks okay ;-)



I would LOVE to get my hands on this Magnolia cloud die....

Right I am off to have a relaxing night with a takeaway.

Teacup Tilda

I decided to make a card just for "me" with something that I love. My Dad didn't reckon much to this one, but both me & my Mum appreciated it - LOL!

I used my Magnolia teacup which was a birthday present along with my matching sitting Tilda. Love these two stamps!



The papers are Prima with some matching card stock and I used my new clock die which I didn't like at first but now I love it after seeing it on lots of cards especially my Magnolia Ink mag. I added some pink lace with an old button that was in my stash.



I popped some liquid pears around my image and also added the postage stamp, which I just love & really need to get this because I think it is a nice little extra for cards. I stamped the image last night at craft class and didn't manage to stick it on my card so popped it on this one instead.



I made this card to fit with the theme over at Just Magnolia which is "Pink, Pearls and lace".

Kenny K - Red Hearts! Challenge #80

I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. I am, but I don't know why Monday appears to come round so quickly!

My last order for a Valentines card is my Sister's. All she wanted was for my Kenny K Sexy Cupid to have ginger hair, just like hers - lol!

I was pleased when I was blog hopping this morning because the Kenny K Challenge was to use at least 3 red hearts!

Here is my card.....



I used a mixture of Magnolia papers along with some plain red card. I cut out some scalloped glitter hearts with my nesties and used my Magnolia sentiment to finish it off.



Valentines Day has earned me some extra pennies for me to add to my crafty stash & I am now going to get my thinking cap on for Mothers Day!

TOMIC # 36

Hi Everyone,

I made this card for an order last night and the only thing that had to be on the card was a pirate and the name "Josh" so I thought I would enter the challenge at TOMIC.

This week it was a Sketch by Tina & you had to use Edwin.



I love my pirate Edwin and I bring him out all the time for cards for little boys! I also sat him on my new I LOVE YOU stamp. I really wanted this stamp and gave in this week because I just NEEDED it!!!



I used my my star punch for a bit of decoration. This punch is just the best for male cards. I added some gingam ribbon and made a bow! Im obsessed with making bows now that I can use my bow maker!!! I was being a bit blonde with it for a while, but I know what I am doing now, lol!



Right, I am going to enter this at TOMIC and then colour lots of images!!! So pleased its the weekend!

Challenge # 112 - Love Themed Project with more than 1 Heart!

As seen as I have been snowed in all weekend I have spent more time at the PC than usual. I have found some lovely new blogs to follow and also had time to enter another challenge before work today.

I decided to enter the House Mouse Challenge because I needed to make an Anniversary card and I thought this was appropriate.

I hope this is acceptable because it was a "Love Theme" with more than 1 heart. My two pins are my hearts.



I have had this stamp for a while and it is one of my most used stamps. I used my Prima papers with kraft card as a backing. I added a lovely silver corner and a few pins from my stash.



I hope it warms up because this weather is just too cold......

Another Valentines Card & Some Challenges

I made another Valentines card last night, but this time I made one with an image that I would like!

It's a bit busy for me, but I wanted to do something different & I really like it.

The papers are Bo Bunny with red & black card. I added a red feather and heart button that I picked up on Thursday from the shop where I buy all my ribbons.

I think I will keep this one for Martin because it will look lovely on my fireplace in my black, white & red living room. It will match perfectly!

I don't usually enter challenges because I just don't have the time with work & orders but as I was off Thursday and Friday I thought I would have a go.
